2.2.2 Radiation Protection Status Report <br />The Radiation Protection Officer will <br />submit a status report to the Leach <br />Foreman, Mine Manager and corporate <br />management each calendar quater. This <br />report will include a summarization of <br />inplant and evironmental monitoring data, <br />as well as a summary of pertinent Radia- <br />tion Protection Inspection Reports. At <br />a minimum this report will indicate and <br />comment on trends in key areas such as <br />personnel exposures, airborne concentra- <br />tions of radioactive materials, environ- <br />mental radiation levels, bioassays, etc. <br />Where practicable, recommendations will <br />be made to lower exposures under the "ALARA" <br />concept. <br />2.2.3 Biannual Management Audit <br />A biannual audit of the Radiation Protection <br />Program will be conducted by a management <br />team comprised of the Mine Manager, Leach <br />Foreman, Radiation Protection Officer and <br />a corporate specialist. This audit will <br />review pertinent operating procedures, as <br />well as records of inspections and audits <br />conducted by the Radiation Protection <br />Department. The audit will determine if <br />procedures are followed, and whether or <br />not deficiencies and items of noncompliance <br />are reported and acted on in a timely <br />manner. Concurrently, the audit will de- <br />termine if exposures may be lowered under <br />6 <br />
