Results of this <br />review will be documented and retained with ed- <br />ucation, training and experience records. <br />4. Standard Operating Procedures <br />a. Policy <br />Radiation Protection Program quality, consistency, <br />and thoroughness will be assured through imple- <br />mentation of formal, written Radiation Protection <br />Standard Operating Procedures. <br />b. Program <br />Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS} will be <br />written to govern all aspects of the Radiation <br />Protection Program (see examples in Appendix-A). <br />Prior to implementation, SOPS will be reviewed <br />and approved by at least the Radiation Protection <br />Officer and the Mine Manager. SOPS will be <br />reviewed and revised as necessary, or at a <br />minimum of once every two years. <br />New SOPS will be generated and old SOPS deleted <br />as program needs dictate. <br />c. Records aid Audits <br />A set of master (administrative) SOP copies will <br />be maintained by the Radiation Protection Officer. <br />Copies of approved SOPS will be made available <br />to corporate management, the Mine Manager, <br />Leach Foreman, and the Radiation Protection <br />Technician. <br />2 <br />
