( ii) Pit drainage water introduced directly to the <br /> river via the storm sewer will cause a net <br /> streamflow effect that will be either <br /> positive during periods in which the pit is <br /> being dewatered, or negative while no pit <br /> water is being discharged . The negative <br /> streamflow impacts will be compensated in a <br /> manner described in Paragraph 7 of this plan <br /> if the storm sewer discharge is used. <br /> 6. Historic Consumptive Use. <br /> a. Water rights owned by the Applicant have been used in <br /> conjunction with certain other water rights retained by the <br /> previous owner of the property for the irrigation of <br /> approximately 46 .2 acres of corn on the subject parcel of land <br /> and certain adjoining property . Water rights have been <br /> delivered to the farm via the Greeley-Loveland Ditch and the <br /> Grapevine Lateral, with conveyance losses of approximately 20% <br /> in the main ditch and 58 in the lateral .
