Loadout Facilities
•
At the conclusion of the Loadout operations, all surface facilities will
be removed and all salvageable equipment will be sold as used equipment
or to a local scrap dealer. No equipment will be merely abandoned by
Mt. Harris.
Grading
All areas affected by the Loadout facilities within the Loadout area
will be returned to a final surface configuration that will closely
resemble the land surface prior to disturbance. The post-disturbance
topography is shown on the Vegetation Map (Map 4) and the Drainage and
Sediment Control Plan (Map 7). Final grading will be conducted by use
of loaders, dozers, and/or blades.
All access road or miscellaneous roads used at the facilities are old
• roads which have been in existence for many years. These roads will be
left intact at final reclamation. The main access road to the facility
site from Highway 40 will also remain intact at final reclamation.
Irrigation
No irrigation is planned for the regraded and revegetated areas.
Pest and Disease Control
Noxious plants will be controlled using recommended methodologies of the
Colorado State University Extension Service. If outbreaks of insects
become a problem to the point they endanger the successful establishment
of the seeded vegetation on the reclaimed area, they will also be
controlled using methods suggested by ±he Colorado State University
Extension Service. All herbicides and pesticides utilized will be those
that are approved by the appropriate Colorado and federal government
• agencies responsible for the approval and distribution of such agents.
2.05.4-2
