1 <br /> RECLAMATION PLAN <br /> General <br /> Our company provides a basic level of reclamation of mined <br /> lands. This includes grading, drainage and grass seeding. <br /> Improvements beyond this level depend on the ultimate land <br /> !j use, ownership and economics. <br /> The aim of this reclamation plan is to create a private re- <br /> creation area with fish and waterfowl habitat. The land <br /> will be mined ; banks and islands will be shaped to give a nat- <br /> ural appearance, and lakes will be allowed to fill. Land <br /> surfaces will be reseeded and trees will be planted. The re- <br /> clamation plan has been approved by the landowner . <br /> Land Use <br /> Surrounding land is primarily agricultural . The reclamation <br /> plan with its wildlife habitat and natural appearance will be <br /> appropriate to this rural setting. The recreation area is <br /> intended for private use only. It will not create excessive <br /> traffic or noise. <br /> Grading <br /> The major feature of the reclamation plan is the creation of <br /> three lakes. Total water surface will be about 92 acres, less <br /> island surface. Two of the lakes will have one island each, <br /> the third will have two islands. Lake elevations are planned <br /> so that overflow of each lake will drain to another : southwest <br /> ' E-1 <br />
