r 1 <br />~J <br /> <br />RECLAMATION PLAN. <br />Type of Reclamation <br />Cotter Corporation will restore the affected land in acc rdance <br />with MLRD's reclamation performance standards and the D.O.E.' lease <br />E <br />requirements. The land will be reclaimed for range and wildl~fe habitat <br />to meet the D.O.E.'s directive to return the land as closely s possible <br />to the pre-mining land use. There will be 20-21 acres of aff~cted <br />land to. be reclaimed. <br />Reclamation will be initiated using a Caterpillar D-0 or~equivalent <br />appropriate equipment. The waste dumps will be graded into t e existing <br />• hillside and/or to a slope angle reflecting the surrounding t pography <br />and the natural angle of repose of the dump material. Compac ed areas <br />will be scarified and spread with stockpiled topsoil and with the more <br />finely textured waste material to a depth of 6 to 8 inches an seeded. <br />Pre-existing roads will be left in serviceable condition <br />will be scarified and seeded. <br />Pre- And Post-Mining Land Use <br />This area of Montrose County is zoned agricultural-open. <br />current land use is predominately mining and grazing.
