The following syRnbols are shown on your map: <br />S•,^,,hol or Site Name Generalized Descriptions <br />(Detailed descriptions are available in <br />your Soil Cansereation Service office,) <br />J2-A Norte gravelly sandy loam <br />This symbol represents the Norte series, It has <br />a sandy loam surface and a subsoil layer over- <br />lying gravel and cobble at 20 to 40 inches. <br />J5L-A San Arcacio loam <br />This unit has a loamy surface 6 to 8 inches <br />thick and a clay loam subsoil about 8 inches thick. <br />It overlies sand and gravel at 20 to 40 inches. <br />This soil is somewhat poorly drained with a water <br />table at three to four feet, <br />XAO-A Loamy alluvial land <br />This unit consists of moderately deep to deep <br />soils occurring along the major rivers and creeks, <br />The surface and subsoils are looms and clay looms, <br />Depth to sand and gravel ranges from 20 to 60 <br />inches. It has a high water table during most <br />of the growing season. <br />XA2-A Sandy alluvial land. <br />This is a complex of soils. The surface textures <br />range from loam to sandy loam; the subsurface <br />textures range from sandy loam to gravel. About <br />20`,6 of the area ranges from 20 to 36 inches deep <br />' and 10°,6 of the area is gravel bars. A water <br />table is common within a foot of the surface. <br />XJ2-A Norte - Dunul Complex <br />This is a complex of soils. The surface layer <br />has a sandy loam texture overlying sand and <br />gravel. The soil is rapidly permeable and has a <br />low waterholding capacity. <br />
