I have attached a copy of this categorical exclusion for your records.
(See attached file: CO-200-2006-102CE.doc)
This is a computer copy and does not show the field office signature. The document was
signed last week (8/2/2006) by our field office manager, Roy L. Masinton.
Ms. Jackson contacted us today and requested a contract for rock. Based on that phone
call we are in the process of issuing a short term mineral material contract to Everett
and Florence Jackson for 400 tons of rock.
This is expected to be signed and completed in the next few days.
Our contract stipulates that the contract holder must comply with terms and conditions of
the State 110 permit (M-2006-053). Ms. Jackson stated that she and Everett had appeared
before the MLRD board on August 16, 2006 regarding your July 26, 2006 letter pertaining to
a possible violation and that this issue had been resolved and the state permit was in
order.
Based on that information we are assuming that the State DRMS permit is in order and it is
acceptable for us to issue a contract.
Thank you very much for keeping us informed on the permit
of correspondence and inspection information.
Dan
Daniel Grenard - Geologist
BLM - Royal Gorge Field Office
3170 E Main St.
Canon City, Co. 81212
719-269-8527
Permit #:~
Class: ~,~ ~_
Fran: ~~
D~• Name: ~
Doc• Date (if no
Specialist:
Confidental9:
TYPe-seq.:
To: j7~D~~_
-_
--
We appreciate receiving copies
