After approval, I'll make one new
combined booklet for each of your's and Cooley's records
incorporating these changes.
First, I made overall changes in the phases as follows:
1. Area 1 remains the same.
2. Area 2A (South Platte River Area) was previously Area 2C.
Since this area will be completed either at the same time
or right after Area 1, but before mining is undertaken on
most of the property, this seemed a more logical
designation.
3. Area 2B was previously Areas 2A, 3, 4, and 5. Since this
area is the proposed reservoir, that will entirely
enclosed by the slurry wall installed at one time, this
also seemed a more logical designation.
4. Area 2C was previously area 2B.
The response to your specific comments are as follows, with the
second copy of the changed exhibits marked where each change
occurred. The numbers below and on the marked up copy correspond to
those in your letter of December 7.
1. All of the map exhibits have been signed, and one copy is
included with this letter.
2. Topography have been added to the Reclamation Map. The
Pre-Mining and Mining Plan maps also have the 400'± non-
mining area without UD&FCD approval area added. On the
Mining Plan map, we also added the proposed channel
improvements to reflect the latest plans by UD&FCD.
