(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Nb and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of August 30s' <br />through September 17's, 2002. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 39° F to 55° F, and highs ranged from 49° F to 84° F. Rain was recorded <br />on September 9's, 10's, 12a', and 13a`, 2002. Weather observations were made on ten days of this <br />sixteen day reporting period. <br />Construction Svnoosis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVb and <br />c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb and c construction activities on ten days of this sixteen day <br />reporting period {August 30"', September 3'~ through September 6'~, and September 90' through <br />September 13'~. <br />Phase IVb <br />Ames continued to haul and place Soil Liner Fill (SLF) in the Phase IVb PSSA <br />No geomembrane was deployed in Phase IVb during this reporting period. <br />Ames continued placement of Stnachiral Fill (SF) in the Phase IVb azea. Ames placed SF at the Phase <br />IVa/IVb tie-in and above the Phase IVb sump. Ames also continued slope recontouring in the Phase <br />IVb azea on Substation Hill, on the northern PSSA slope, in the PSSA IIoor, on Chicken Hawk Hill, and <br />
