-7- <br />• EXHIBIT C - Mining Plan <br />1. It is estimated that mining operations will begin immediately <br />upon issuance of M.L.R.D. and all other required permits - <br />September 1, 1990. It is estimated that mining and reclamation <br />will be completed within 3 years - September 1, 1993. <br />2. Topsoil will be salvaged to a minimum depth of 12 inches. <br />Zyme soils are locally 18" to 20", overlying the mineable gravels. <br />Mining will be carried cut in cells, topsoil to be salvaged will <br />be reapplied to each cell. See Exhibit E Mining Plan Map. <br />3. Overburden consists of Zyme soil which varies from 18" to <br />20" and which will be removed to mine underlying gravels. See <br />Exhibit E Mining Plan Map. <br />• 4. Z'he gravel deposit is 12' to 15' thick, horizontal and <br />tabular in shape. <br />5. The major components of the mining operation will be: <br />1) access road, 2) mining bench (pit), 3) processing plant <br />(crushing, screening), 9) Scale and office). <br />6. Total disturbed area will be 9.8 acres. Area is rectangular, <br />measuring approximately 653' along the east and west boundaries <br />and 654' along t}ie north and south boundaries. <br />7. An access road will be established inside the west permit <br />boundary, and as part of the permit area, which will be shortened <br />and reclaimed as mining progresses. No improvements will be <br />necessary on existing roads. <br />8. Water will be used only to settle dust on access road and <br />• <br />
