presented, the unavoidable adverse impacts of the project ,
from the standpoint of air quality , are the following:
1. There will be increase of dustfall and suspended
particulate at the site during mining and reclam-
ation. These effects will be temporary and
variable in time, and space, depending upon
weather conditions, the rate of mining and pro-
cessing, and the stage of the mining-reclamation
plan. Average particulate levels will be within
air quality standards everywhere beyond the site
boundaries.
2. There will be insignificant increases in vehicular
• air pollution at the site, and on area highways
and streets used for transportation of gravel
products .
The closest subdivisions and areas within the City of
Boulder are approximately 1 ,000 feet west of the project.
Because of prevailing wind directions and distance, there
will be no significant air quality impacts at these sensitive
areas.
• The mining operation will comply with all Colorado and
Federal regulations relating to control of air pollution.
Because resulting airborne dust concentrations will not
G-19
