• 2.05.3 <br />(3)(b) A description of each existing structure. <br />There are no existing structures within the permit area which the applicant <br />intends to utilize for the mining operation. <br />(3)(c) A description of each road conveyor, or rail system to be constructed or used within <br />the permit area. <br />Conveyors <br />There are fourteen separate conveyors constructed on the property which <br />are described as follows: <br />1 & 2. Porta! Convevors <br />The portal conveyors are extensions ofthe conveyorfrom within the D-Seam <br />and B-Seam. Approximately 140-feet of this 72-inch wide conveyor extends <br />• from both portals to the respective portal transfer buildings. <br />3 & 4. Gob Belts <br />The gob belt conveys gob from the two portal transfer buildings (D-Seam and <br />B-Seam) to the temporary gob piles. These 48-inch wide conveyors are <br />approximately 81-feet long. <br />5. Stockpile Conveyor <br />The stockpile conveyor transfers coal from the portal transfer tower to the <br />stacking tube and coal stockpile. This 72-inch wide conveyor is <br />approximately 393-feet long. There is a 16 foot by 20 foot by 20 foot high <br />structure located over the stockpile conveyor which suspends a magnet over <br />the stockpile conveyor belt. <br />6. Off-Specification Coal Conveyor <br />The off-spec conveyor transfers low quality coal from the top of the stacking <br />tube to the south east edge of the run-of-mine coal pile.
