Any perched aquifers or other contegeous ground water bodies that are separate
from the regional groundwater.
3. All surface streams.
4. All natural seeps, springs, and wetlands in the permit boundary to the first
flowing drainage basin.
Before the operation increases from the existing plan of approximately 10 tons per day
per the mining plan, five quarters water quality for both surface and ground water
will be required. The Division suggests the operator start collecting this data as soon
as possible.
Geochemistry and Ore Mineralogy
1. Describe the characteristic and trace element mineralogy of the ore and waste
rock. Separate descriptions should be prepared for the ore materials, the
unmineralized and unaltered host rocks, and any mineralized or unmineralized
alteration zones around the ore body that may be intersected or excavated
during mining. This assessment should identify all minerals that are present in
abundances greater than 0.5 percent of any of the rock masses to be disturbed.
2. Locate and describe the volume, configuration, and mineralogy of any spent
ores, waste rocks, or ore stockpiles that exist on the property at the present
time.

Indicate whether these materials were placed under a mining or prospecting fat
`~'°e~•
operation that was permitted by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, under a
l
i
b v~s'^
pre-
aw operat
on, or
y an unpermitted operation.
v~9 ~
Show how and whether the proposed future mining operations will utilize,
traverse, or otherwise remove any of these materials.
The decision date for the application is January 19, 1996. The Division would like the
requested information no later than January 16, 1996 to allow enough time to review.
