M-84-134 through M-84-142, Inclusive, Respective Dear Mr. Winsor: I have completed my adequacy review of the 110 permit applications for the nine Prowers County gravel pits captioned above. In general, thes applications are very thorough and well-assembled, and I have nos rious adequacy questions. I do have a few brief questions for some of t e operations and will list these questions under each operation. An operation or exhibit not mentioned is considered adequate now. Please respo d to this letter by no later than August 17, 1984, in order to allow me to r view your answers to my questions before the scheduled August 22-23, 1984 me ting of the Board, If we can resolve the few question areas, these applicatio should be ready to be approved by the Board as written "no problem" matters wring this meeting, and you will then not need to be present. The proof of publication for two sequential weeks of publication ( ublisher's affidavit or copy, if possible and proofs of notification to the landowner of the permit area and all immediately adjacent landowners (green or hite certified mail receipts) must be received and reviewed by the Divi ion staff for each application before the Board can consider these applicati ns. Please send these to us as soon as they are available. In order for permits to be issued, after Board approval, for these operations, a completed performance warranty must be received for each pit. I have enclosed a copy of our performance warranty form for your use in t is matter. You may make copies for this form, but an original, signed warrant document must be submitted for each pit. Bernard Pit Exhibit A - An examination of the vicinity map shows the corner o the pit extends into the NWl/4 SW1.4 of Section 18, T27S, R43W. This part of the pit should also be referenced in the legal description (both in the pe init and in your publication).
