Present at the meeting were yourself,
Mr. Don Rapp, representing C&C Sand Company, and myself, representing
Castle Concrete Company. In that meeting, the recent agreement between
C&C Sand and Castle Concrete was discussed as it pertains to the future
operation and reclamation of this quarry. At the conclusion of the
discussion it was agreed:
1. Castle Concrete in the near future will proceed with the removal of
the stockpiled rack at the quarry. This will be done under the C&C Sand
permit. Castle Concrete Company will not be responsible for any
reclamation except for that addressed in this letter under item 2.
Castle Concrete will be responsible for watering the access roads in
compliance with Fremont County requirements.
2. Upon conclusion of Castle Concrete's work, the site will be graded
in such a manner as to severely limit the introduction of sediment into
the creek bed. This grading will involve primarily the establishment of
a containment berm along the quarry side of the stream channel. This
berm will be of such height and configuration as to limit or prevent the
introduction of any sediment into the stream channel under normal
precipitation patterns.
3. After completion of the removal of the stockpiles, or ac[ually prior
to that time, Castle Concrete will initiate an investigation of the
feasibility of assuming the C&C Sand permit for the operation. This
investigation will examine the amount of extractable granite and
limestone in this area as well as an investigation of establishing a
new, private access route to the site from Highway 115.
J
rau G s lsaa
MINED LP:IV~J
RECLAMATION Di'JiF;lO~'~
