• During 1984 the Somerset Mine developed entries beneath Hubbard Creek
and limited extraction to development only. The development resulted in an extraction ratio
of approximately 40%. Visual and survey monitoring did not detect any significant
subsidence caused by the mining beneath Hubbard Creek (ref. Permit C-81-022 - TR-03
with a decision date of December 30, 1986).
