All lands are to be included in the permit application. These are included
but not limited to old pit areas, terraces, roads, top soil storage areas,
etc. associated with the mining operation.
Exhibit A
The legal description of the Burns Pit is NE/4 SW/4 of Section 11, T8S,
R61W. The location of the pit is on the proximity of the quarter-quarter
section line dividing the NE/4 and the SE/4. To my knowledge the majority
of the pit is located in the NE/4 of the SE/4, Section 11, TBS, R61W.
Exhibits S and C
Previously gravel material was loaded into a truck using a dragline which
in sane of the old gravel pits did create holes if there was not a sub-
stantial hillside to work into.
Gravel material extraction as it exist now is to establish a loading area
or floor to where material is stock piled fran the direction of the gravel
source. Slopes are maintained so loaded trucks can pull in and out easily.
Gravel has usually been deposited in layers with the depth being undeter-
mined. Direction of the excavation is usually into a hillside and not to
create a pit.
