PUBLIC NOTICE <br />MINREC, INC., 2768 Compass Drive, Suite 101, Grand Junction, CO <br />81506, has submitted an application for Renewal of a Valid, <br />Existing Permit to Conduct Coal Mining in Colorado to the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Division, "Division", for its mining permit <br />No. C-81-047. The current mining and reclamation permit expires on <br />January 15, 1993. The proposed renewal will extend the mining and <br />reclamation permit for a permit term of five years. The Blue <br />Ribbon Mine is located seven miles northeast of Paonia, CO, north <br />of Highway 133, Section 2 T 13 S, R 91 W, and Section 35 T 12 S, R <br />91 w. The location of the permit area is contained in the U.S. <br />Geological Survey 7.5 minute Bowie, Colorado, quadrangle map. A <br />copy of the permit renewal application is available for public <br />inspection at the Delta County Clerk and Recorder's Office, 5th and <br />Palmer, Delta, CO and at the offices of the Division.
