EXHIBIT D
Reclamation Plan

(I)
(a) Overburden will be replaced when there is a sufficient
area affected (3-5 acres). It will not disrupt mining
operations.
(b) Maximum gradient of slopes will be 3H:1V
(C)
(i) All stockpiled overburden and topsoil will be
used exclusively for reclamation.
(ii) Pit will be seeded on an on-going basis (see (I)(a)
above).
(iii) The Natural Resources Conservation Service has
recommended the following seed mixture:
Variety Species Seed Pounds/Acre
Vaughn Sideoats Grama 3.15
Arriba Western Wheatgrass 3.20
Cimmarron Little Bluestem 1.40
Blackwell Switchgrass .45
Covington Blue Grama .30
Goshen Prairie Sandreed .325
(iv) Application method will be by seed drilling.
Drill spacing will be 7" - 12" and planting
depth will be 1/4" - 1/2".
(v) A grass hay or cereal grain straw mulch will be
spread and crimped into the soil at a minimum rate
of 4000 pounds per acre. Mulch will stick 6" out
of the soil to control wind and water erosion until
grass becomes established.
(vi) Trees and shrubs will not be planted since this
will be reclaimed for rangeland purposes.
Existing trees will not be disturbed.
(d) No structures or water features will remain after
reclamation.
(e) Not applicable. After reclamation there will be no
detrimental hydrologic effects, no off-site drainage.
Proposed future land-use is rangeland.
