Mileage each day is estimated as 20 miles. Therefore, annual <br />uncontrolled emissions will be: <br />8.29 lb/mile * 210 days * 20 miles/day = 34,818 lbs/yr = 17.41 tons/yr <br />The watering "as needed" control is not applicable to water trucks because they will only water <br />on days when precipitation has not occurred. The gravel roads emission reduction factor of 50 <br />percent is applicable to the 10,000 gallon water truck only. Therefore, annual controlled <br />emissions will be: <br />17.41 tons/yr + 38.17 tons/yeaz * .50 = 27.89 tons/yr <br />Lube/Refill Truck <br />Two Mack DM-800 trucks will be used to refuel vehicles and provide maintenance functions. <br />These trucks will drive approximately 12 miles per day for 255 days per year. The precipitation <br />factor of 0.8219 applies to emissions reduction. The average weight is 54 tore, the average speed <br />is 15 mph, and the vehicles have six wheels. Therefore, annual uncontrolled emissions will be: <br />• 18.11 lb/vehicle mile * 2 vehicles * 255 days * 24 miles/day = 221,666 Ibs/yr = 110.83 tons/yr <br />Annual controlled emissions will be reduced by 75 percent with gravel on roads and watering "as <br />needed". Therefore annual controlled emissions will be <br />110.83 tons/yr * 0.25 = 27.71 tons/yr <br />Supervisors Pick-up Trucks <br />Four 2.5 ton 4X4 vehicles will be used by supervisors. These vehicles will travel approximately <br />25 miles per day for 255 days per year at an average speed of 25 mph. Therefore, annual <br />uncontrolled emissions will be: <br />3.51 Ib/vehicle mile ' 4 vehicles * 255 days * 25 miles/day = 89,505 lbs/yr =44.75 tons/yr <br />Annual controlled emissions will be reduced by 75 percent with gravel on roads and watering "as <br />needed".
