The <br />recommended decision date for your application is scheduled for April 24, 2000. Therefore, I <br />would appreciate a response from you on or before April 19, 2000. Since we have received <br />objections to the proposed operation, the Division will be scheduling apre-Hearing Conference <br />approximately May 1-5, 2000. A Formal Public Hearing will also be scheduled before [he Mine <br />Land Reclamation Board on May 24, 2000. Please be advised that the Division may recommend <br />denial of your application on April 24, 2000 unless the following adequacy review items are <br />addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Please provide proof of notice to all owners of record of surface rights and all owners of record <br />of lands that are within 200 feet of [he boundary of the affected land. <br />EXHIBIT C -PRE-MINING & MINING PLAN iVIAP <br />2. Please revise Exhibit C [o include [he location of two (2) underground gas lines along <br />Brighton Road and all current lined (concrete) irrigation laterals within the affected land. Also, if <br />there are any known irrigation laterals that extend outside the boundaries of the proposed affected <br />land, please indicate. <br />3. The mining plan map specifies various setback distances of 20, 3~, and 60 feet from the limit <br />of mining (pit edge) [o [he permit boundary. At a minimum, [he Division will require a setback <br />distance of 64 feet from the toe of the excavation to any permanent man-made structures that are <br />
