HAUL ROAD - Pnvate dnve access to the site is gamed from Rrver Road which ~s well maintained and m <br />good repair Anew 150 foot long paved surface haul road will be constructed between the roadway and <br />the mine sde together with a new 750 foot tong acceleration lend along the south side of River Road The <br />alignment of the haul route is shown on the accompanying Mmmg Plan Map. The following mirnmum <br />standards will be incorporated into the haul road Construction <br />• 24 foot paved width wdh 3 foot gravel shoulders <br />• tight Inches of compacted Class a Aggregate Base Course surface <br />• 50 foot returns <br />1B inch culveA <br />• Stop sign <br />• Any other improvements required by Mesa County's Access Permit <br />Speed limit and other traffic contrd signs will be installed along the entire length of the haul road and <br />within the mine site, Water will be used on a continual basis to control dust on the haul road and within <br />the mining area. <br />By analynng annual production levels, available trucks, and the location of the fecildy m respect to the <br />trade area, traffic projections can be made, The follow assumptions are used In estimating treffic <br />projections <br />• The maximum number of employees working at the lacihty will be 5. <br />• Two types of trucks are used: 10 yard dump trucks with a capacity of 14 tons and 24 ton capacity <br />belly dump trucks. <br />• 80 percent of the loads will single unit trucks wdh a maximum Gross Vehicle Weight of 54.000 <br />pounds <br />• 35 trucks are typically available for hauling. <br />• 98 percent of all annual deliveries are to areas east of the access point. <br />A typical gravel scneening end crushing unit. <br />
