EXHIBIT L
Reclamation Cost Estimate
In order to calculate maximum potential reclamation liability to the State, we have selected a
point in time where the mining disturbance could be at is maximum. This point occurs during
the mining of Phase III. At this time the active mining face and interior walls of the Pond 3
mining azea will be at its greatest length. There will be shoreline (exterior mine area wall) under
reclamation in the Pond 3 mining area. Please refer to Exhibit D for a listing of disturbed areas
that tota131.8 acres. This estimate will follow the same order as the listing in Exhibit D.

Aspect
Reclamation Operation
Quantity
Units Unit Cost
($)
Cost ($)
Pond 3
A Slurry Wali, 10, 000 LF x 30 feet deep
(20%) 60 000 SgFt 3 180 000
'
B Stripped Overburden and Topsoil in
Anticipation of Mining
1.
