The portion of the reach stretching from station 23+75 to 29+45 has an
average gradient of 3.0 percent. The bottom width in this section is about
BO feet, and consequently, the section is grass lined. Cross-section 6 is
located at station 26+20. The surveyed channel geometry and hydraulic
summary for this cross-section are presented in Table 7-12.1.
Cross-section 5, at station 20+48, is found within the section that
stretches from station 18+40 to station 23+75. This section has an average
gradient of 4.8 percent, and the channel at the cross section is riprap
lined with a Dso of 9-inches. The surveyed channel geometry and hydraulic
summary £or this cross-section are presented in Table 7-12.1.
Cross-section 9, at station 16+45, is found within the middle section of
the channel that stretches from station 15+65 to station 16+90. This
section has an average channel gradient of 1.8 percent, and is grass lined.
The surveyed channel geometry and hydraulic summary for cross-section 9 are
presented in Table 7-12.1.
Cross-section 3, at station 12+75, is found within the section that
stretches from station 9+98 to station 15+65. This section has an average
gradient of 2.6 percent, and is riprap lined with a Dso of 9-inches. The
surveyed channel geometry and hydraulic summary fox this cross-section are
presented in Table 7-12.1. The lowest part of Channel 1 middle stretches
from station 6+80 to 9+98. This section of channel has an average channel
gradient of 0.3 percent and is grass lined.
The break between Channel 1 middle and Channel 1 lower occurs at station
6+60, which is where runoff conveyed from an undisturbed catchment enters
Channel SIIPM-1 through Culver 15A. The upper section of Channel 1 lower
stretches from station 9+10 to 8+80. The average channel gradient for this
reach is 0.3 percent and is grass lined.
The lower section of Channel 1 lower stretches from station 0+60 to 9+10.
The average channel gradient in this section is 2.8 percent. This section
is riprap lined with a Dso in excess of 12-inches. There are two surveyed
cross-section in this section; Section 2 at station 2+95 and Section 1 at
station 0+60, respectively. The surveyed channel geometry and hydraulic
summary for the cross-sections are presented in Table 7-12.1. Below
station 0+60 the channel becomes the delta £or Pond 002. •
TR-37 4 Revised 10/OS
