"AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER"
July 5, 1995
Colorado Division of Wildlife
722 S. County Rd. 1 East
Monte Vista, CO 81144
Gentlemen:
We are in the process of applying for a 112 mining permit
with the Division of Minerals and Geology for approximately
40 acres in the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 8, T.37N.,
R.lOE., N.M.P.M. in Alamosa County. As part of the
permitting process we must address the impact such
operations will have on wildlife. 'Phe pit will be used as
a source of fill materials in and around the Alamosa area.
We do not believe the impact to wildlife will be
significant. We would appreciate your evaluation of the
impact such an operation might have on wildlife and your
opinion concerning wildlife issues that might have to be
addressed in the permitting process.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions
regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
,Joh T.
