~, <br />Phase 3 <br /> <br />The topsoil stripped from this phase will be stored next to the ponds and in the Phase 2 area. <br />Mining will continue in this phase in a southern direction from the mined floor gently sloped at a <br />2% grade. The mining will daylight out of the hillside at the 8040 foot elevation. <br />No improvements will be made to County Road 3. <br />Water used in the aggregate wash plant will originate from a natwal spring located on adjacent <br />property owned by the applicant. See attachment 2. <br />Groundwater and/or surface water will not be encountered. No off-site drainage goes through <br />the permit boundary. <br />Refuse and acid or toxic producing materials will not be exposed during mining. <br />No disturbance to the hydraulic balance will occur. <br />Mined gravel will be crushed, screened and washed on site. <br />The primary commodity is concrete aggregate. The secondary commodity is construction and <br />landscape aggregate which may include salt sand, cobble stone, asphalt materials, pit run and <br />masonary sand. <br />No incidental products will be mined. <br />The following equipment and facilities will be utilized in this operation: <br />Loaders (2) <br />Scale House (1) <br />Portable Toilets (1) <br />Concrete Batch Plant (1) <br />Crusher (3) <br />Scraper (1) <br />Dozer (2) <br />Office Trailer (1) <br />Asphalt Batch Plant (1) <br />Screen {1) <br />Aggregate Wash Plant (1) <br />
