Coulson Excavating Company, Inc. -Stroh Gravel Pit <br />Exhibit A -Legal Description <br />The Stroh gravel pit is located in SW '/a of Sec 14 and NW '/4 of Sec 23, TSN, R68W, <br />Larimer County parcel numbers 85140-00-009, 85140-00-007 and 85230-00-004. The <br />permit azea is approximately 117 acres and the pit area is approximately 70 acres. The <br />Coulson Excavating Company's Kirtright Gravel Pit is located directly west of the <br />proposed Stroh Gravel Pit, and an interstate highway and frontage road are located 0.5 <br />miles to the west. The Big Thompson River is located directly north of the project area. <br />One landowner owns a large parcel of land north of County Road 20E, and two <br />landowners hold land adjacent to the Big Thompson River on the project's northeastern <br />boundary. Two occupied residences aze located within 1,200 feet of the proposed project <br />boundary. There is also one unoccupied house within the proposed project boundazy that <br />is used as a storage shed.
