Schreiner: <br />• Trarraportatlan <br />• Lard Devebpment <br />• M/Mng <br />• rndushy <br />The responses below and associated revised exhibits have been prepared to address Adequacy <br />Review comments from your fetters dated October 1, 2002 and October 8, 2002 (Sorenson <br />comments). <br />6.4.3 EXHIBIT C -Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Maas) of Affected Lands <br />1. Maps have been revised to our current cad standard and signed by Peter Wayland M.S. <br />Geologist. A uniform scale of 1"=200' has been used for all full size maps. Please note the <br />permit boundary has been set back 200' from the Hillsborough Ditch in the SW comer. <br />6,4.4 EXHIBIT D - Miniriu Plan <br />2. The liquid asphalt storage area will include a concrete containment pad designed to contain <br />minor spills. <br />3. The northern cells have been eliminated from this submittal. The decision has been made to <br />not mine the north zone at this time. We may decide to'mine this area in the future pending a <br />technical revision of this permit. <br />4. The modeled floodway has been included in the revised Exhibit D. <br />5. Since the north zone will not be mined, this will not be necessary <br />6. Coulson Excavating will mine slopes at 0.5H: 1 V <br />6.4.5 EXHIBIT E -Reclamation Plan <br />7. Of 966,469 yd3 of overburden generated, 240,091 yd3 will be backfilled to reduce slopes from <br />0.5:1 to 3:1 and replace topsoil. 726,377 yd3 will be removed from the site. <br />8. All slopes will he reclaimed at 3:1. <br />9.
