Soils are <br />outlined on Sheet 7 of the Castle Rock Area Soil Survey. The <br />Blakeland and Orsa soil series are found on this site. Copies of <br />series and mapping units were made from the Soil Survey book. <br />Much additional soils information is contained in the book. <br />The pit site lras already been disturbed. Thus, the only vege- <br />tation found are annual weeds and grasses. This would be a com- <br />bination of plants such as tumbling, mustard, field bindweed, <br />cheatgrass, kussiart thistle, kochian and cocklebur. <br />]f more in-depth roclanation planning assistance is needed at a <br />later date, the Douglas County Soil Conservation District crould <br />nerd to have a written raaurst.
