Water rights with the rty include eight (80) acre-foot
units of Colorado-Big Thomps oject water presently assigned
to the property.
In addition, 7/27ths interest in and to the Chaffee Ditch
and its water rights are also presently assigned to the property .
Historically, as noted earlier, the subject property has always
been used for intensive irrigated crop production for the entire
property of 109 . 122 acres . The resultant lake(s) area after
completion of mining and reclamation will be 94 acres +, Con-
sidering the above water resources , and remembering the historical
water use for intensive irrigated crop production, it is felt that
the applicant has more than adequate water resources to accomplish
revegetation-planting for a total reclamation plan.
