• • page 2
March 26, 1985
file 73-7
We hope that you will find this amendment as well as the Castle Concrete
amendment both interesting and innovative. It has taken a considerable
amount of time to prepare these amendments, do the planning, and acquire
the necessary approvals from primarily the ditch company. It was just
about two years ago when a former member of your staff, Mike Stanton,
suggested that we examine the possibilities of moving the ditch and thereby
greatly improve the reclamation potential of both of these operations.
We feel that after implementation these plans will result in a vastly
improved utility of this land as well as develop the mineral production to
its maximum potential.
If you have any particular questions regarding the amendment please contact
myself or Mr. Briggs. I will not 6e available the week of April 1 - 5, but
will be available for discussion of any of your concerns after that time.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
~~ ~ `%~~
Mark A. Heffner
Encl.: 4 copies of permit amendment.
cc: G. Scott Briggs
C. C, Herskind
