Availa <br /> nitrogen x1]1 be spread ,just prior to harrowing at a rate of 40 pounds <br /> per acre. An. additional 40 pounds of nitrogen x111 be applied one year <br /> after seeding. Any areas disturbed by use as roads or stockpile areas <br /> x111 be heavily disced and treated as above. <br /> Seeding - see the attached sheet for seed mexture and planting informatio <br /> Mulching - native grass or clean straw x111 be used to mulch reseeded <br /> slopes. Mulch x111 be applied at a rate of 4000-6000 pounds per acre <br /> following seeding. Mulch will be crimped into soil surface xith a crimp- <br /> ing'implement or xith a xelghted disc that x111 not cut the mulch. <br /> Protection - Reseeded areas x111 be fenced to exclude all livestock graz- <br /> ing for three years following seeding. Only light grazing x111 be allox- <br /> ed.for.at least five years after the commencement of grazing. The estab- <br /> lished grass x111 be protected from uncontrolled burning and vehicular <br /> traffic. <br /> Proper Crazing Use - grazing will not be alloxed to remove more than 50 <br /> percent of the current yeazs groxth during any part of the growing sea- <br /> son. Crazing during the dormant season will not exceed 60 percent use. <br /> Once every three years the reclaimed area will be degerred from livestock <br /> grazing during the growing season. <br />
