each sample point. The plant materials clipped from each plot will be
- segregated according to major life form, placed in bags, and labeled. All
samplec will be dried for 24 hours In a drying oven at a constant tem-
perature of 105'C. All samples will then be weighed to the nearest 0.1 gm
and the data recorded according to species or major life form foz each
sample.
The vegetation cover and productivity data will be analyzed and orga-
nized to provide a summary of the cover and productivity on the pinyon-
juniper community and reference area. The summary will include mean cover
and productivity estimates for species and ma jot life forms and total vege-
tation cover and productivity for the type .and reference area. A report on
study design, methods used, data obtained, data analysis, statistical tests
and comparisons, equivalency of reference area and affected type and
appropriate discussion of results will be prepared and submitted to Parma
Resources Corporation for submittal to the Colorado Hined Land Reclamation
Division. The report will be submitted to Perna Resources within 45 days
of the end of sampling. Perna Resources will submit the report to Che
Colorado Hined Land Reclamation Division within 60 days of the end of
sampling.
STIPULATIONS 11, 15, and 17: Criteria and methods for documenting revege-
tation success relative to cover, productivity, moody plant density, sad
species diversity are presented below:
Success of revegetation will be documented for cover, productivity,
woody plant density, and species diversity consistent with rules 4.15.7 and
4.15.8. Studies to document revegetation success will be conducted during
years 9 and 10 of the 10 year liability period following the last year of
revegetation work as defined in Section 4.15.7(6). Vegetation types to be
disturbed by mining ate mountain brush, pinyon-juniper, and previously
disturbed areas. Host of the mountain shrub and pitryon-juniper sites that
will be disturbed will be reclaimed to a rangeland-'wildlife habitat. Pre-
viously disturbed areas and small amounts of pinyon-juniper and mountain
shrub sites will be reclaimed to a dry land pasture as described in detail
in the reclamation plan.
