latilong distribution records, generalized descriptions of non- <br />threatened and endangered wildlife species potentially present on <br />the site were developed. The proposed site is situated on the <br />border of Latilong Plock:s 1~~ and il, Eagle and Georgetown bloc4::s <br />respectively, and both Ploc4;s were a=_ed in this evaluation. <br />' Common mammalian species E+:nown to inhabit the area around <br />the site would include a number of insectivores and rodents, <br />snowshoe hares, white-tailed jac4irabbits, coyotes, red fo>;, <br />' striped skunks, badgers, mountain lion, bobcats, elk, mule deer <br />and bighorn sheep. <br />' Avian species which could be e;;pected on the site and the <br />nearby area are migratory fowl including the common loon and <br />horne grebe raptors such as red-tailed hawk, golden eagle,' <br />' prairie falcon and F::estrels and a variety of passerines, <br />including warblers and sparrows. Latilong data for applicable <br />' habitat types were reviewed but no attempt has been made to <br />enumerate a complete list of species based on historical surveys. <br />1 Reptile and amphibian species possibly present on the site, <br />' in spite of the elevation being over lt~,t~iii~ feet, include tiger <br />salamander and red-lipped plateau lizard. Due to the elevation <br />' and scarcity of permanent water bodies, reptilian and amphibian <br />' species can 6e highly variable and are not enumerated. <br />No threatened or endangered species are E:nown to occupy the <br />' site.
