<br /> <br />depending on the need for gravel within the area. <br />As mentioned above, each area of major disturbance will be <br />reclaimed using the overburden of soil from the ongoing <br />excavation so that no more than ~ 10 acres are affected at any <br />one time. Currently there is an area of approximately 2.5 acrea <br />within the 30 acres which was mined previously by the State of <br />New Mexico. Once this perm~t application is approved and a gravel <br />contract acquired, the overburden removed to fulfill that <br />contract will be placed on the old excavation and seeded <br />according to the Reclamation Plan. <br />As mentioned above, the overburden is approximately 6" deep <br />and is soil as noted in Exhibit I. The nature of the stratum <br />immediately beneath the material to mined is lava rock. <br />EXHIBIT E: Reclamation Plan <br />(a) All pits, haul roads and construction camps, if any, <br />upon completion of use, shall be cleaned free of equipment and <br />trash.
