This <br />will be removed and placed on the site of first disturbance and <br />seeded and fertilized according to the Reclamation Plan. Once <br />this overburden is removed, the sand and gravel can be mined. <br />(c) There will be no diversion of water or impoundment. <br />(d) The size of the area to be worked~at any one time will <br />depend on the contract secured with the operator. It is <br />anticipated that the size of the said area will within five to <br />ten acre', perhaps smaller. It will be an area of major <br />disturbance. The mining will remove approximately 20 feet of sand <br />and gravel, leveling out the riverbank. No excavation will takel~ <br />place less than eight feet above the high water mark above the <br />river. <br />(e) Once this permit is approved, the mining operation will <br />begin as soon as contracts are secured with operators wishing <br />gravel. With the amount of gravel available within the 30 acres, <br />it is estimated that the operation can continue for 30-40 years, <br />- 1 - <br />
