~ III IIIIIIIIIIIII III ~
EXHIB. sss TION
DEMETRIO AND OLIVE VALDEZ
EXHIBIT A: Legal Description
Please see survey map labeled Exhibit A
EXHIBIT B: Index Mag
Please see included map marked Exhibit B
EXHIBIT C: Pre-Mining and Mininq Plan
Please see included map marked Exhibit C
EXHIBIT D: Mining Plan
(a) The mining of sand and gravel at this site will be
trhough the use of a front end loader and truck.
(b) There is an overburden of approximately 6" of soil. This
will be removed and placed on the site of first disturbance and
seeded and fertilized according to the Reclamation Plan. Once
this overburden is removed, the sand and gravel can be mined.
(c) There will be no diversion of water or impoundment.
(d) The size of the area to be worked~at any one time will
depend on the contract secured with the operator. It is
anticipated that the size of the said area will within five to
ten acre', perhaps smaller. It will be an area of major
disturbance. The mining will remove approximately 20 feet of sand
and gravel, leveling out the riverbank. No excavation will takel~
place less than eight feet above the high water mark above the
river.
(e) Once this permit is approved, the mining operation will
begin as soon as contracts are secured with operators wishing
gravel. With the amount of gravel available within the 30 acres,
it is estimated that the operation can continue for 30-40 years,
- 1 -
