Special Monitoring <br />Six Time Analysis <br />CO-0032638 <br />In order to determine the general quality of water discharged at <br />Ch is facility, the permittee is required to perform a six time <br />analysis for the following parameters at the specified discharge <br />points. Analyses are to be performed on a monthly basis for six <br />months. The approved method with the lowest detection limit shall <br />be utilized. The monitoring and analysis shall begin at the first <br />instance of discharge after this permit becomes effective. A report <br />of "No Discharge" shall not be counted as one of the six analyses. <br />Following analysis of the sixth sample, the data shall be submitted <br />to the Permits and Enforcement Section, within forty-five (45) days <br />of the sampling date. <br /> <br />Parameter <br />Total Mercury (mg/1) 003 and 006 <br />*Total Recoverable Cadmium (mg/1) 003 and 006 <br />*Total Recoverable Silver (mg/1) 003 and 006 <br />llischarge Point <br />Sample Type e/ <br />Grab <br />Grab <br />Grab <br />If. evaluation of the data demonstrates a definite or probable exceedence <br />of water quality standards, the permit may be amended to incorporate <br />effluent limitations or additional monitoring, as allowed under Par[ <br />II.8.5. of this permit. <br />* Cadmium and Silver shall be analyzed using the furnace atomic <br />adsorption (AA) method, with a lowest reportable concentration of <br />0.0003 mg/1 And 0.0002 mg/1, respectively. <br />See Part I.C. for Footnotes. <br />Corrected 6/26/87 <br /> <br />
