RECEIVING STREAM: <br />A. Identification, Classification, and Numeric Standards <br />1. Identification: Crey Creek, tributary to the Purgatoire River. <br />Lower Arkansas River Basin, Segment 2. <br />2, Classification: Recreation, Class 2 <br />Aquatic Life, Class 2, (Warm) <br />Agricultural Use. <br />3. Numeric Standards: The standards which have been assigned in accordance <br />with the above classifications can be found in 3.2.0 Classification and <br />Numeric Standards for the Arkansas River Basin (S CCR 1002-8), as <br />amended August 5, 1991. Ic should be noted that this facility does not <br />discharge pollutants which are limited by water quality standards with <br />[he exception of pM. <br />B. Receiving Water Data <br />1. Stream Low Flow: Not Applicable; effluent limitations are not <br />flow based. <br />IV. FACILITY INFORMATION: <br />One sedimentacicn pond, designed co contain the 10-year, 24-hour precipitation <br />even[, exist at [he mine site. No process-related discharges have been <br />reported at the facility since 1988. Therefore, discharges when they occur <br />shall be limited to surface runoff only. <br />Since the facility is currently inactive, any discharges from the facility <br />should consist of surface runoff only. If discharge of mine water, prep plan[ <br />water, sanitary water or other non-surface runoff related water becomes <br />necessary, the Permictee will have to request that an individual NPDES permit <br />be drafted prior to the occurrence of such discharge, to replace this general <br />permit. <br />V. ANTIDECRADATION: <br />These are not reviewable waters pursuant co Section 3.1.8(3)(a) of the Basic <br />Standards and Methodologies for Surface Water (SCCA 1002-2), based on a <br />finding of no increased water quality impact. <br />
