All roads shall be con- <br />structed under the provisions of the Regulations of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, Rule 4.03.3 <br />The proposed road that shall access drill sites PCC-06 through <br />PCC-8 has approximately 1,320 linear feet which shall not <br />be within the CMLRD-OSM Permit Area. The disturbance shall <br />be located on BLM land in T11S, R98W, Section 24, Mesa County, <br />Colorado. <br />Abandonment <br />The exploration holes shall be plugged using the procedures <br />found on Figure 1 Typical Drill Hole Abandonment (U.S.G.S.). <br />The exploration holes shall not be used for water monitoring. <br />• All exploration holes shall be sealed by replacing the cuttings <br />and drilling media into the drill holes. The surface casing <br />shall be removed below ground level after a plug, grout packer <br />or other expanding plug is placed approximately 10 feet below <br />the ground surface to support a cement plug to within four feet <br />of the surface. The remaining four feet shall be backfilled <br />with topsoil. <br />Reclamation <br />Drill Sites <br />Reclamation of the drill sites shall require redistribution <br />of topsoil which shall be salvaged to depth of 12 inches and <br />stockpiled where necessary as directed by the Surface Management <br />• Agency to construct the drill sites. Each site shall be seeded, <br />mulched and fertilized. <br /> <br />.. <br />
