<br />lt~veaetation <br /> <br />Coarse alluvial gravel is the natural ground cover adjacent to the <br />river. Through natural succession some trees and shrubs have <br />become established within the stockpiles and it is suspected that <br />the s~,c•cessional process will occur more readily once the piles are <br />removed. The final reclaimed ground surface will be much closer to <br />the groundwater table. This will provide some subirrigation of <br />root systems as plant species become re-established. Large <br />Englemann Spruce and Lodgepole Pine seed trees exist along the <br />outer perimeter of the river which should contribute to the <br />revegetation. <br />E-4 <br />
