<br />Steep Slope Mining - Rule 4.27 <br />Trinidad Basin Mining commits to the conditions of steep <br />slope mining as stated in Rule 4.27. In so doing, no spoil, <br />waster materials, debris or abandoned or disabled equipment <br />will be placed on the downslope and should it be inadvertently <br />or accidently placed there it shall not be allow to remain. <br />The highwall shall be completely covered with spoil. The <br />spoil shall be compacted by the tracking or walking inplace. <br />The area above the highwall shall be left undisturbed with <br />the exception of any approved diversion ditches. <br />. All excess material or initial pit cuts shall be placed or <br />( trucked to approved overburden stockpile sites or storage areas <br />and shall be placed in accordance with Section 4.09 of the <br />regulations. <br />No woody materials shall be placed in the backfill area. <br />No drainage channels shall be constructed across the backfilled <br />areas unless they are rock lined or otherwise protected unless <br />approved by the Division in advance as to stability. <br />A slope stability analysis has been attached to justify <br />that the Static Factor or Safety is greater than 1.3. <br />~~ <br />~2' - 6 <br />
