C) <br /> General - This pit, which has been operating for several years, <br /> consists of a wet pit with sand and gravel being excavated to a depth of <br /> as much as 50 feet. A dragline excavates the sand and gravel which is <br />' <br /> crushed, washed, graded and stockpiled. Dewatering is accomplished as <br />' necessary by pumping into holding ponds and gravity flow into the Poudre <br /> River.
