COMPANY NOTIFICATION PROCESS <br />A. During Normal Working Hours <br />• During norTrel working hours, the person receiving the emergency <br />call will normally be in the dispatching section of tie Commercial <br />Office. <br />1. If the dispatcher has received a call that appears to be <br />"minor," he will dispatch the nearest serviceman in :he <br />area to investigate the emergency call and report his <br />findings. If the serviceman determines that the condition <br />found can be remedied by his action, he will so advise the <br />dispatcher. <br />If the serviceman finds that corrective efforts are r.ot <br />within his capacity, he will so notify the dispatcher. <br />The serviceman should give all pertinent information so <br />• the dispatcher may notify a responsible supervisor o' the <br />serviceman's request to make an assessment of the situation. <br />2. If the dispatcher has received a call that appears to be <br />"major" in nature, he will immediately inform a res;cn- <br />sible supervisor of the call and dispatch a serviceran to <br />the scene. The Distribution Superintendent or C L ~~! <br />Foreman will also be dispatched to take charge and evaluate <br />the situation. <br />3. The Distribution Superintendent will make a personal <br />evaluation of the emergency and dispatch construction <br />personnel and/or other servicemen to the scene, as deemed <br />• <br />-7- <br />
