Frequency and Sample Type
In order to obtain an indication of the probable compliance or noncompliance with the effluent limitations specified in Pan
I.A.1, the permittee shall momtur all effluent parameters at the following frequencies. Such monitoring will begin
immediately and last for the life of the permit unless otherwise noted. The results of such monitoring shall be reposed on
the Discharge Monitoring Report (See Part LE.I.). Also see Pan LB.I.e. (or Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) monitoring
requirements.
Winter Monitoring Exemption: For outfalls 004, 00~, 008, 009, 011, 014, 0I5, 016 and 017, during the winter season,
monitoring may be suspended at the pernullee's option when adverse weather conditions prohibit sale access to one or
more of these discharge points at the frequencies specified in this subpart. Monitoring shall recommence at the firs[
oppormttity after such inaccessibility ends. When inaccessibility prevents sample collection, the permittee shall document
what monitoring was missed and the specific conditions that prevented access in cover letters to the appropriate Discharge
Monitoring Reports. Whole Effluent Toxicity testing for outfalls 004 and 008 is exempted completely (or the firs[ calendar
quarter and is included in this exemption beyond the first quarter when inaccessibility is documented as described herein.
a.
