-2-
In Exhibit L - Reclamation Costs, the estimated costs for grass seed are
considerably underestimated. The recommended grass mix will, according
to May, 1988 prices, cost about $120.00 der acre or $1800.00 for the 15
acre project.
No cost estimates were provided for grass hay - to be used as mulch. Using
an "average cost" of about $3.75 for a 75 lb. bale, and figuring 53 bales will
be needed to supply two tons of mulch per acre, we get an estimated cost of
about $199.00 per acre and $2985.00 for the project's 15 acres.
We feel the above items must be incorporated into this application before
approval is granted by the Board of Adjustment.
Sincerely,
> + ~ - ~ ~ ,
Rob Balciwin,'President /
Board o~' Supervisors
cc: Lou Ladwig, State Land Board
Mile Boyd, Mined Land Reclamation Division
Dan Parker, Director State Soil Conservation Board
