•
Drill Hole Abandonment and Site Restoration
As each drill hole is completed it will be sealed top to bottom with
cement. A space of three feet will be left between the top of the
cement plug and the surface. This space will be filled with soil
material to the surface. A 1" rebar with a metal I-D tag will be
placed at the hole location as a marker which will be removed upon
cesation of mining and abandonment.
All equipment, supplies and debris associated with the drilling
project will be removed from [he site. Excess drill cuttings will
be scattered on the site or removed to the refuse dump. Although
• no vegetation disturbance is planned, any site shoving signs of
unintentional disturbance will be seeded in the fall with [he seed
mixture approved for use at the Dorchester 81 Mine.
•
