DRILL HOLE SIZES:
All hole sizes will be 5-5/g" diameter holes to allow for a 3" core
sample to be taken. Only 3-4 holes will be cored. All holes will
be geophysically electric logged with a wet-hole tool to allow a good
resistivity log to be recovered. No holes will be cased if they can
be avoided. Core holes will be offset holes alongside plug holes
that were electric logged for core points.
DRILL WATER:
Water hauls will be kept to a minumum. Water will be obtained from
the Dorchester No.l Mine yard facilities. All drilling fluids as
well as any artesian floe encountered will be contained in portable
mud pits and no[ allowed to flow off the drill site.
• SITE PREPARATION:
At this time, no plans have been made to level or grade any drill
sites. All drill hole locations have been chosen to minimize field
damage. All sites are situated along existing roads/trails that are
currently in use by farmers. The drill rig will use self-contained
leveling ,jacks to further minimize drill Bice preparation.
ROAD ACCESS:
Our plane include the use of existing farm roads and trails, therebq
minimizing additional surface disturbance associated with road access.
If for any reason, roads are damaged by overuse, mine equipment will
be used to restore the roads to the predrilling condition. All drill
sites have been located in open areas to minimize vegetation disturbance.
•
