allowed to flow off the drill location.
SITE PREPARATION:
At this time, no plans have been made to level or grade any drill
sites/locations. All drill hole locations have been chosen to mini-
mize field damage. All sites are situated along existing roads/trails
that are currently in use by farmers. The drill rig will use self-
contained leveling jacks to further minimize drill site preparation.
ROAD ACCESS:
Our plans include the use of existing farm roads and trails, thereby
eliminating additional surface distrubance associated with road
access. If for any reason, roads are damaged by overuse, mine equip-
ment will be used to restore the roads to as near the original condition
as is possible. All drill sites have been located in open areas to
• further minimize and control vegetation disturbance.
DRILL HOLE ABANDOFIENT AND SITE RESTORATION:
As each drill hole is completed it will be sealed top to bottom with
a quick setting drill mud. A space of three (3) feet will De left
between the collar of the hole (surface) and the plug. This space
will be filled with soil material(s) to the surface.
All equipment, supplies and debris associated with the drilling
project will be removed from the site. Excess drill cuttings will
be returned to the drill hole or removed to the refuse dump. Although
no vegetation disturbance is planned, any site showing signs of
unintentional disturbance will be seeded in the fall with the seed
mixture approved for use at the Dorchester No. 1 Mtne.
11/5/82
H.
