A Range Seeding is defined as having 50% or more of the <br />mixture made up of native plants. Nordan crested wheatgrass is recommended <br />because the seed is readily available, reasonably priced, easily established <br />and will provide soil protection. Sand Dropseed, Needle and Thread, Indian <br />Ricegrass and Western wheatgra=s are natives. Seed is available in limited <br />supply for these grasses, is generally expensive and is more difficult to <br />establish.
